Columbus, OH – The Greater Columbus Sister Cities International has announced the opening of applications for the 2025 CIRCLE Program, an initiative aimed at shaping the next generation of global leaders through cultural leadership education.

The CIRCLE Program (Creating International Relationships through Cultural Leadership Education) is designed for emerging leaders aged 20 to 40 in the Columbus region. It provides participants with a unique opportunity to develop intercultural communication skills, adaptability, negotiation strategies, and creative problem-solving abilities—key competencies for success in an increasingly globalized world.

A highlight of the program is a week-long international delegation visit to one of Columbus’ Sister Cities, offering participants hands-on experience in global policy development and cross-cultural collaboration. The program also includes four intensive training weekends focused on leadership development, networking, and a final policy presentation.

The 2025 CIRCLE Program’s timeline includes:

March 31: Application Deadline

June 27-28: First Training Weekend

July 25-26: Second Training Weekend

August 22-23: Third Training Weekend

October 11-18: International Delegation

November 7-8: Final Training Weekend

Policy Presentation Date TBD

With Columbus being a hub of international diversity and economic opportunity, the CIRCLE Program aims to bridge cultural gaps, foster innovation, and empower local professionals to become global ambassadors.

Applications open March 3, 2025. Interested individuals can apply at columbussistercities.com/circle.
