Columbus has been recognized as the top city in Ohio, ranking 34th in Resonance Consultancy’s 2024 list of America’s 100 Best Cities. This achievement highlights the city’s dynamic growth and its appeal as a destination for residents, visitors, and businesses.

Resonance Consultancy, a global advisor in tourism, real estate, and economic development, evaluates cities based on factors such as livability, lovability, and prosperity.

According to Resonance Consultancy, Columbus’s high ranking reflects its thriving arts scene, burgeoning tech industry, and the significant impact of Ohio State University graduates who choose to remain in the city. The presence of major corporations, including Nationwide Mutual Insurance and L Brands, further bolsters Columbus’s economic landscape.

The city’s commitment to urban development is evident in projects like the Trolley District, featuring craft breweries and restaurants, and the new Common Thread fashion district. Additionally, the recent opening of Quarry Trails Park, offering the nation’s first urban via ferrata, showcases Columbus’s dedication to enhancing recreational opportunities.
